How many band people are at your school?
I believe that we have around 78 kids in the 8th grade in band. We have way more people in the 8th grade band than last year and the year before.
We have about 150 kids in the 6th grade band.
Some of the school is in choir, some people are in band. (You can't do both.) and some people aren't in either of them.
We have in the middle school 3 bands;6th grade(150),7th grade(100-125) and 8th Grade. (84)
In 8th grade, there are about 70 kids in our band. I'm not sure how many are in 7th grade, but 6th grade has at least 110.
If all three grades, 6th, 7th, and 8th, I think we have about 120 band students. In response to Amy F.
In 6th grade band we have 150
In 8th grade band we have about 70
But I'm not sure about the 7th grade band.
It depends on the grade. Like I know the 8th graders have about 85 band students and the 6th graders have somewhere around 100 band students I believe.
Do any of ya'll live in Kalamazoo?
I lived in Kalamazoo for 5 years
I lived in kalamazoo for 10 years
Most of us live in Kalamazoo or the Mattawan area. But a few people here and there live a little more out of the way.
Yes most of Mattawan kids do or live with in like 10-15 minutes.
I do, all of my life.
I lived in Kalamazoo for 6 months
There are some students that actually live in the Village of Mattawan limits, but a lot of students also have a Kalamazoo area code. I myself live just outside of Mattawan in Kalamazoo. Then, there are people in our school district that live in Lawton, Paw Paw, and other surrounding towns.
How many snow days do you have typically in a year?
We usually have 6-8 snow days. But this year, we've only had 6.
It all depends on the weather, we usually have a couple snow days a year, but last year the snow really came down and we had about a week of no school which was really fun except that we had to make up the lost school days in the summer, so far we have had 2 snow days and I think thats about all were going to get, do you have your own type of weather that could close school?
It depends. Like last year we had about 13. This year we have 6. Like I said it depends on how much snow we receive.
We are allowed six snow days, and this year we have had all six. If we end up having more we have to take days away from the summer, and on average we end up having 4-7 snow days per year.
We usually have about 6 or 7 snow days a year. In response to Jane F.
It depends on how much snow we get. Some years we can have a week off and some years we can just have a few days off.
The typical amount of snow days we have varies. Most of the time it's around six days, which we get to have off for snow days before we have to start having extra days of school. But last year we had to have an extra week of school because of the snow being terrible. So the typical amount of snow days we have is around six days.

On your website it mentioned "small town charm in the downtown area". What is some examples? Also, what kind of entertainment do y'all have?
I was looking at your school website and I saw you had a club called "The Leo Club", I was wondering what it was or what it was for? Typically, Leo is a zodiac sign, specifically a fire sign, or a word for Lion.
Well Emily S.,
The Leo Club is the youth organization of the Lions Club. The Lions Club (if you don't know what it is) is a worldwide organization that helps out in Community Service and Volunteer Work. The Leo Club is basically the same thing only for people 12-18. It is a fairly new thing at Mattawan that I helped create. So, you were right about it relating to Lion but not exactly what you were probably thinking. Also L.E.O. stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.
Hope that helped.

Amy Fan, in the whole middle school I would say there's about 200, because there's about 70 in each grade.
