I really like your essay! I can really relate to it because im a dancer and I have to go to class like 2-3 times a week and plus we always end up changing our routines like every class.
I really liked your story because I can really relate to it. We do the same things at our schools' cheer team practices. Although our schools' competitive cheer season is over, we have sideline cheer coming up very soon. We do a lot of conditioning and and stunting too. We sometimes have practice with the varsity team but they are on the other side of the gym. We were do build connections with all those teams through cheerleading
I'm a cheerleader too, and when I read your title I said to myself wow this has to be a cheer story because I think only cheerleaders would talk about putting heart into something. I remember our JV team (which is like first year in high school people) had this cheer they did right before they started their actually cheer. It was like a snap, clap thing. And everyone on the middle school team would try to learn it. I have just started cheer this year but I will probably do it in high school too. I think it's amazing the relationships and the inspiration you can get out of cheerleading. Cheer with Heart!
